Although they are often referred to as non-needle drop, the tree will shed some needles during the Christmas period. These potted trees still have their roots attached and therefore can be watered as you would any house plant. When planted in the garden, best survival rates are achieved by doing so immediately after purchase or after remaining outside throughout the Christmas period.
